Communion United Methodists practice open communion, inviting "all who intend a Christian life, together with their children" to receive Communion. Baptism is not a prerequisite nor do you have to be a church member.
Child Care Child care is available at all three services ... newborn through 5 years old welcome.
What To Wear Knowing what to wear to church is important information before attending any type of service. You want to go to church feeling confident that you are dressed appropriately and can enjoy the event. More important than what you wear to church, we want you to be comfortable here.
Those who attend Gulf Cove wear a variety of attire from very casual to dressy. You’ll find everything from suits and ties at our Traditional services to blue jeans, shorts and flip-flops at our Contemporary service.
Women often wear skirts, slacks, or dresses; men usually wear dress shirts and slacks, but it can vary from collared shirts and khakis to sport coats, and sometimes suits and ties. Weekday nights, Bible studies, are more relaxed and comfortable.
Parking Visitor parking is provided in the front of the church. First time visitors are encouraged to pickup a gift at the Welcome stand in the narthex.
Fellowship Enjoy coffee and cookie fellowship after each service.
Prayer request cards are available from ushers and greeters.
