Easter Festival & Egg Hunt!

All are Welcome!  Saturday, April 1, 11AM – 1PM

Join us for a morning of fun and giggles for our annual Easer Egg Hunt.

There will be plenty of eggs and the “hunting groups” are fun for all ages.  Bring a basket to collect in, if you have one.

Our Maundy Thursday service will be held on April 6th at 5:15 PM.

We will have a potluck to share.  Bring a dish to share; but if you can’t bring a dish, come and enjoy.

Maundy Thursday is the Thursday before Easter, remembering the day when Jesus celebrated his final Passover with His disciples. Most notably, that Passover meal was when Jesus washed the feet of His disciples in an extraordinary display of humility. He then commanded them to do the same for each other.

Our Good Friday Service will be held on April 7th at 6:00 PM.  In this ancient service, darkness will be increased by gradually extinguishing candles to symbolize the coming darkness of Jesus’ death.

For Christians, Good Friday is an important day of the year because it celebrates what we believe to be the most momentous weekend in the history of the world. Ever since Jesus died and was raised, Christians have proclaimed the cross and resurrection of Jesus to be the decisive turning point for all creation. Paul considered it “of first importance” that Jesus died for our sins, was buried, and was raised to life on the third day, following what God had promised in the Scriptures (1 Corinthians 15:3).

Our Sunrise meditative service will start at 6:45 AM.  Please bring an outdoor chair and bug spray.

A service at sunrise on Easter morning is a tradition in many churches as it represents the moment Jesus crossed from death to life, from darkness to light. It’s also a joyful, as well as intense and emotional, celebration of Easter.

You have three choices for your Easter Service.

The Easter message can be enjoyed at 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM with traditional music.  Or you can delight in a service with contemporary music at 9:30 AM.

Enjoy the joy of the sweet air filled with Easter lilies and song.

Remember you can also watch the service online.
